Holdings Limited 是一家在香港股票市場掛牌上市的公司(公司股票號碼585). IMAGI 致力於CG動畫電影的開發與製作,
公司的第一部自製商業動畫電影是2007年3月上市的TMNT忍者龜. IMAGI公司於加州洛杉磯擁有開發及前製團隊, 而CG製作團隊則位於香港Chai
Wan的總公司. IMAGI的下二部電影為即將於2009年全球上映的Gatchaman ( 科學小飛俠, 由Kevin
Munro執導 )及AstroBoy ( 原子小金剛, 由Colin Brady執導 ),

Lighting
TD |
Requirements:
- Ability to perform visual and analytical problem-solving
in 3 dimensional space;
- Ability to work well in team atmosphere; and
- Ability to solve problems and predict potential problems
with assigned tasks.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Two years experience with a high-end system such as
Alias, Maya;
- Strong demo reel/portfolio in photorealistic lighting
and texturing;
- Understanding and experience with advanced compositing
concepts;
- Degree/Diploma in Animation, Multimedia, Computer Science,
or a related field; and
- Proficient in scripting is an advance. (C-Shell, Perl,
RenderMan, MEL and/or similar). |
Effects Developer |
Responsibilities:
- Work with TDs, art directors and designers to create
believable special effects;
- Accurately interpret concept art and design from the
Art Department;
- Use and understand 3D lighting, effects and compositing
tools; and
- Provide input regarding tools and interfaces to improve
throughput.
Required Skills/Experience:
Unix experience
- Minimum 2 years experience with a high-end system such
as Houdini, Renderman, Alias and/or Maya;
- Strong demo reel/portfolio in realistic effects animation
and lighting;
- Degree/Diploma in Animation, Multimedia, Computer Science,
or a related field;
- Understanding and experience with advanced rendering
and compositing;
- Ability to work well in team atmosphere; and
- Proficient in scripting is an advance. (C-Shell, Perl,
RenderMan, MEL and/or similar). |
Surfacing
(Shading) |
Responsibilities:
- Work with TDs, art directors and designers to create

Software
developer / Software developer trainee |
Responsibilities:
- In-house software development, implementation and maintenance
of applications, database solutions and processing platforms;
- Develop tools, scripts, and plug-in for streamline CG
production;
- Work on cutting edge technical issues in computer graphic
(CG) production, e.g. character rigging, shading, crowd
simulation, dynamics and rendering; and
- Knowledge of Maya and/or Renderman is an advantage.
Requirements:
- Degree / Dip. In Computer Science or related discipline;
- Proficient in C / C++ programming language;
- Strong interest in Computer Graphic / Game development;
- Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal
skills;
- Knowledge in any 3D software, OpenGL, DirectX and graphics
pipeline is a definite advantage; and
- Experience in Perl and Shell Scripting, Procedural shading
and scripting are a plus. |
Technical
Trainee |
Responsibilities:
- Develop scripts and shaders, for streamline CG production;
- To assist animators to solve the technical problem;
and
- Cooperate with R&D department to evaluate the new
technique in computer graphic (CG) production, e.g. character
rigging, shading, simulation, dynamics and rendering.
Requirements:
- Degree / Dip. In Computer Science or related discipline;
- Strong interest in Computer Graphic;
- Proficient in C / C++ programming language;
- Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal
skills;
- Knowledge in any 3D software is a definite advantage;
and
- Experience in procedural shading is a plus. |
Character
Rigger |
Responsibilities:
- To produce production character models and rigs using
the Imagi Feature Animation pipeline;
- To work within the Character Model team under the supervision
of the Character Modeling Supervisor;
- To work towards a production schedule and quality set
by the Department Supervisor and the Production Supervisor.
Daily communication with the team members and the supervisors
is a must; and
- Would be involved with rigging research and development
periodically, where this position will need to work with
TDs and developers to come up with new rigging techniques
and technology.
Requirements:
- 1 or more years of CG production character rigging experience;
- Knowledge of Maya deformers and skeletal system;
- Knowledge of Maya constraint system;
- Some knowledge of mel scripting;
- Ability to work in a team environment;
- Ability to listen to an follow directions;
- Ability to come with new creative rigging ideas; and
- Ability to communicate in written and verbal Chinese
